Travel Banking Tips: Protect Your Money

Overseas trips are expensive enough, so saving every Cent possible will do you a lot good. International Banking Fee's have been a problem to many travelers as they probably never bargain for a fund cut from bank charges which short leaves their travel and adventure on the long run. High crime zone are also a point to look out for so you don't get mugged, and even if you do the losses will be relatively minimal. Here are my tips to avoid such travel banking fee's where possible.

1. Fund At Least 2-3 Account

ATM's sometimes get comprised these days, you don't want to be caught and drained up in International Fraud with all your budget gone with the wind. Even if the Financial Authorities will do something, I personally don't think the hassle is worth it, like they say "A stitch in time saves nine" and "Prevention is better than cure. If you get your fund spread in 3 account at least you won't be stripped fund naked. I tell you what, having a plan mapped out ahead will definitely save you the trouble. ATM fee's can also be killing when you withdraw from some locations as both the home bank and transaction banks you make use of will probably drain it all little by little. When you look back over a period into your adventurous journey if you are the heavy traveler type, you might just weep and feel like they actually drained your blood and not you money. If you have to get a favorable account funded solely for your sojourn then do it, i found out these things vary by brands and products so make an inquiry. For many reasons HSBC Checking Account

seems to favor travelers a lot as they have ATM's scattered virtually all over exciting places in the world which thereby cut hiked fee's when you withdraw from their out ATM's. I personally don't fancy traveling with stashed cash plus it's not safe. Even if no one knows, you just would feel unsecured and not at ease for some reason so here it is. Ignoring this vital tips might cost you hundreds to thousands of useful dollars. Except you are very rich though perhaps you don't mind it. Here are 3 types of travel account break down.

#1. Travel Account

This is your main travel account from where you should make all your travel expenditures. This serves ATM withdraw purposes. It's advised not to have much in this account since you transact with it more often, you move about with this if necessary. There is a high International Fraud Risk on this account so be wise not to have a killing sum in it. Even if it gets compromised at least it's minimized than cutting off your entire adventure leaving you stranded and calling home or the embassy. Sometimes there is a risk of criminals so you don't want to lose everything just in a flash.

#2. Personal Account

As the name implies, this is for you personal use and can serve as a fall back on account to refill your travel account in order to keep a smooth adventure. This is solely for anything not related to traveling so you might do yourself a favor to lock it far away perhaps in your hotel room.

#3. Savings Account

Stashing away the larger chunk of my travel fund in this account is the best and most secured travel practice. Your should have a Capital One Savings Account with no ATM for the fraudsters and hoodlums to steal. My Personal Account gets fed from here then down to my Travel Account via online. You have to be security conscious when it comes to your money. Okay well i don't know about yours but mine is hard earned and worked for lol... I will always say, as a traveler you should prepare your mind for the worst scenarios. Yes, you hope to have fun and it's fine but being prepared in your mind opens your eyes to see and your brain to understand what a situation or environment is communicating to you even before something happens. I'm not trying to scare you, just telling you the spotless truth because i care. I hate sad travel tales and this is something i think can fix some of these horrors on the road.

Extra Tip

Always get yourself a Credit Card, securing your fund cant be over emphasized i tell you. Checking out what happened here. Also read this article i came across to brace up yourself with awareness Top Travel Scams. Making use of Credit Cards is another smart way to save money . You get the cheapest exchange rates for International transactions. Protect yourself and your money always!

It is also okay if you carry along a decoy wallet full of expired ID's and particulars. It's horrible scenario's you can easily throw it to the hoodlums a zoom off like Tom and Jerry. They will halt from chasing you to get the decoy wallet while you get away without losing stuff or getting hurt.
