South America: Travel And Tour Brazil On A Budget

When you're talking Southern America, your tale isn't complete without mentioning Brazil as this is base of some of the world's metropolitan cities in the real definition of the word. With beaches and soccer, fair cost of living and beautiful people this city promises fun and adventure. Not forgetting to mention the yearly world famous Carnival where millions of people dance and party their sorrows away if possible.

Lovers of the wild will definitely have a swell time feed their hungry eyes, mind senses with natures naked beauty at the wetlands of Pantanal and the Amazonian forest. The architecture of the colonial historic cities are magnificent, i don't know about you but i get thrilled and sink into thought of how the ancient men lived in an era of no internet and gadgets, must have been really tiresome. Too many tourist attraction in the country makes it a troop in for those who want to have a different experience and see how the people in some other part of the world carry on with life in any circumstance they find themselves.

Here is a COST break down of what and how you should prepare yourself to enjoy your time in Brazil

Accommodation

Like everywhere else there is the preference option. There are lots of high brow living standard here too but the post is based on a budget travel. Brazil has a relatively cheap accommodation system so don't worry you won't be spending the night in the Amazon forest because of bankruptcy reasons. A private room with moderate furnishing can cost 37BRL and above for those your love to maintain a certain standard of living wherever they go. If you're planning a family travel getting a budget hotel which cost between 75-120BRL will be just fine. 40-50BRL should get you nice home stay. Except you are planning a luxurious travel, this budget should serve you right.

Transportation

Personally i love to fly as much as possible, but Brazil has a measure of good roads except your destination is the slump of slumps lol then buses that travel long distances. they are comfortable and economical as you need every possible cent you can save. Some road travel could take a day or two so ensure you check for the time and distance online before purchasing a bus ticket. This is good so you will brace up your mind for it, i don't know about you but i get travel fever when i travel too long a distant. Some people even throw up but you will be just fine. If you need ease yourself or stretch you body ensure to do that enough at the bus station or bus stop. There is a tourist limit to steam oriented train that offers transport between Sao Jao Del Rei and Tiradentes. Basically 7-10BRL per hour is charge for bus ticket.

Activities

There is a cruise service at the Amazon river if you want to have a typical view of the Amazon forest. This could cost from a few hundred dollars to thousands depending on what you want and you financial strength. As we all know, Brazil is renowned for soccer which is held in high esteem as their No. 1 sport activity so you find pay to watch football matches . At Iguazu Fall, entrance to watch is about 40BRL. Football match tickets are costed by your sitting position but generally 35BRL should sit you somewhere comfortable with a clear view.

Savings Tip

Cut Accommodation cost- As a tourist what do you need a whole room for anyways, I'm a talkative and i like to converse with someone or anyone but about important stuff though... Share a room! Yes i said it, if you really are going to keep a moderate budget and not deep hands into your redundant trip savings then sharing a with a buddy, family or someone you trust will save you some BRL for your road trips. Depending on where exactly you are going to stay, a single room may cost you premium than double if you won't be stay in a dorm. Okay maybe you don't like eating something like me when on a long journey but at least you get to keep half the cost of a room.

Taxi Price

Most times it's better to take a bus or train of you would be going on a long distance as they are cheaper, but if you will be taking a taxi ensure you have an understanding about his fee. Try as much as possible not to make it obvious it's your first time, you will make yourself vulnerable to a lot of vice. if you have to ask questions then ask officials at the hotel you are lodged. i will always say this, be aware of your environment by observing even as you enjoy your adventure.

Cheap quality snacks- Coxinha are the perfect snacks to keep you without fainting when on a long trip by bus within the country. A few Cents will do the snacking magic.

To Do List

You should have a to do list when going anywhere at all on vacations and adventures, things to look forward to. You will feel more fulfilled when you get back home and look back at your to do list to see you achieved them all. It gives somewhat worth it feeling inside before you plan for another trip from home or your travel location. For Brazil these are things i suggest you put on your to do list.

Salvador

This is the first city in the history of Brazil as well as the cultural capital. In 1985 the Perlourhino colonial center was declare UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can't possibly tour Brazil without visiting this city as that to me would be mission incomplete. The colonial architectures are a site to behold by yourself i tell you, visitors have always cherished the easy going atmosphere and are happy about been there so it has been nicknamed by a few as the "Capital of Happiness". Salvador is located on the country's North Eastern Region.

Sao Paulo

This is the world's third largest city in the world and the largest in the whole of South America. The music and cuisine are things to look out for when you find yourself there.

Amazionia National Park

Again, this is another very good tourist attraction site. If i would want to ask you anything about your trip to Brazil, the Amazonia National Park will top my question list. The view is breath taking i must say. There are many points of entry and you could well use a river tour to explore into the Amazon, hiking and camping is also a good one. The Amazon is almost half of the nation's landmass, yea... therefore your adventure would probably not be entirely complete cause that's a large expanse of distance to cover on a budget tour but you will be glad you did visit anyways. The Amazon cover 8% of the earth surface but is home to 50% of it's biodiversity. Kayaking, trekking, bird watching are awesome, you might need to keep memorable photos of your experience so take photos to do that.

Capoeira Dance

I have always been thrilled by this dance since i was a kid, i first watched it in a move where they dance like it's a fight but it's actually a dance lol... I was made to understand it a war dance drawn out of the Brazilian martial art so we can call it a dance as well as a fight tactics. Try dancing with them, get in the groove and make long last memories from your vacation in Brazil.

Rio Carnival

Before the Sombre Lent period, music, dancing and happiness take over the street bring out thousands of people to celebrate the Rio Carnival which is one of the most famous parties in the world. During the carnival period the prices of everything triple so if you are planning a trip with this period, i advice you make all your bookings a month or two in advance but make sure you don't loss your mind in the fun or get careless freaky.

Futbol

How did i even get this last?? Futbol is tradition in Brazil, it's a way of life and the most citizen would rather miss your marriage than a futbol match lol... One of the largest stadiums in the world is located in Brazil; it is call the Maracana Stadium which comfortably accommodates 100,000 futbol lover's.

The Pantanal

Located in Western Brazil and stretching into Paraguay and Bolivia is the Pantanal wetlands. About 10,000 animal species lives in the wet lands. From small wild animal to large monsters reside here so be careful not to get out of comfort zone while adventuring into the wetlands. Don't be scared; just don’t go to deep with direction
